Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center Hosts Annual Chinese Auction

West Islip, NY 11795 – On Friday, November 9, 2012, Our Lady of Consolation Nursing &

RehabilitativeCareCenterwill host their annual Chinese Auction. This year the auction will be

held in the cafeteria at St. John the Baptist High School located at 1170 Montauk Highway,

West Islip. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for viewing of prizes and will be auctioned off starting at

7:00 p.m.  Admission is $15.00, which includes 25 raffle tickets. Additional raffles may be

purchased at $10.00 for 25 tickets. Refreshments are available for purchase. This auction will

benefit the resident/patient recreation fund at Our Lady of Consolation. Any local businesses

wishing to donate items to the auction can call Our Lady of Consolation’s Recreational Therapy

Department at 631-587-1600 at extension 8331 or extension 8344. 

Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). As a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Our Lady of Consolation plays an integral role in the health care delivery system of the Diocese of Rockville Centre and offers expertise in the field of long term care and sub-acute care. In addition to skilled nursing home care including geriatric care, rehabilitative care, respiratory therapy and medically complex care, Our Lady of Consolation offers specialized dementia disease care for individuals with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s and related dementia diseases.
