HUNTINGTON, NY- The Huntington Arts Council is proud to present the 2013 members' exhibition entitled "Energy" and showcasing the work of over 70 artists is a wide range of mediums. The exhibit opens this Friday, June 21st with a reception from 5:30 – 7:00pm at the Art-trium Gallery, 25 Melville Park Road, Melville, NY 11747. The reception is free and open for all to attend, with a music performance by the Long Island Brass Guild.
In regards to his selection of art for the exhibit, curator William Grabowski provided this insight: "The Arts give us numerous vehicles from which we can explore and then produce an expression of who we are – our “Energy”. This show invites all members of the Arts Council to display a piece of visual artwork that gives the viewer and idea of who each artist is at this moment. We might show, through our artwork, our hopes, our visions, or the places from which our “Energy” was born or has evolved to. This exhibit wonderfully shows the vast range and talent of our members in beautiful and thought –provoking ways.”
