Open Call for Singers: 26th Annual Harvest Gospel Choir

(RIVERHEAD, NY, September 12, 2012) –– East End Arts is pleased to announce an open call for singers, to participate in the 26^th Annual Harvest Gospel Choir this fall. Vocalists are invited to join Artistic Director Maryanne McElroy, in her 26-year tenure with the concert series, in this non-denominational celebration, connecting many community members, together sharing the joy of music from the soul! Participants must be available for all four rehearsals and three performances.

Rehearsals will be held at the Friendship Baptist Church, located at 59 Anchor Street, in Flanders, NY on the following dates:

· Saturday, October 13, 6 PM – 9 PM;

· Saturday, October 20, 6 PM – 9 PM;

· Saturday, October 27, 6 PM – 9 PM;

· Saturday, November 3, 6 PM – 9 PM.

Performances take place at 8 PM on the following dates:

· Thursday, November 15 at the Mattituck Presbyterian Church, located at 12605 Main Road in Mattituck, NY;

· Friday, November 16 at the Southampton Cultural Center, located at 25 Pond Lane in Southampton, NY;

· Saturday, November 17 at the Friendship Baptist Church, located at 59 Anchor Street in Flanders, NY.
