Syosset, NY (October 24, 2012) – The New York City Fire Marshal’s Benevolent Association has announced their endorsement of Stephen Labate in his bid for U.S. Congress.
“Stephen has established himself as a successful and respected leader in the Army, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His honesty, integrity and devotion to his country are the characteristics that are badly needed in Washington,” said William Kregler, President. “Stephen will fight to maintain the high quality of life that the people within his district enjoy.”
Speaking of the endorsement, Labate remarked, “It is such an honor to be endorsed by the Fire Marshal’s Benevolent Association. Fire marshals provide an invaluable service that often goes unnoticed and they play a critical role in keeping the citizens of New York City safe. I am deeply honored to have earned their confidence and support.”
Stephen Labate is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and a Financial Planner who believes that common sense solutions, not partisan politics, are needed in Washington, DC. He resides in Suffolk County with his wife and two children.
