NEW YORK, New York – August 29, 2012 – Based on one of the most popular and beloved games of all time, “The Legend of Zelda™: Symphony of the Goddesses” is a spectacular concert currently on tour featuring live orchestral performances of music from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise. In advance of the show’s New York appearance at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on November 28, the tour will host an in-store event at the Nintendo World Store at 10 Rockefeller Plaza on September 14, 2012. Ocarina Workshop: Led by ocarinist David “Docjazz” Ramos, known in the Zelda and YouTube fan communities for his love and passion of the legendary instrument; David at a special, interactive workshop designed to introduce fans and newcomers alike to this real world instrument while acquainting you with its fabled history and even a lesson or two

Event performance: Join us for an intimate, one-time-only “mini concert” featuring brand new arrangements heard only at this event! Experience a taste of what you’ll get on November 28th at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

Those first in line will receive a special concert pack that includes a t-shirt, poster, and an ocarina to use during David "Docjazz" Ramos' Ocarina Workshop. This is an extremely limited offer, so fans should arrive early. All items will be available for individual purchase in-store during the event.

The name "Symphony of the Goddesses" refers not only to the concert program but also to the new four-movement symphony recounting the classic storylines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time™, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker™, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess™, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past™. The concert also will highlight orchestral renditions of music from other series games, including The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening™ and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask™.
Since first appearing in 1986, The Legend of Zelda game series has sold more than 65 million units worldwide. The most recent entry in the series is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, which launched exclusively for the Wii™ console in November 2011.
