Five Corners Car Wash in New Hyde Park is hosting a fundraiser to help the North Shore LIJ Cohen Children’s Medical Center. The fundraising event is called Bubbly Smiles, and is the creation of four students at Baruch College working under their professor, Mike Lissaur and his Park Bench Marketing company. The fundraiser gave students an opportunity to gain some hands-on experience organizing an event in the world outside the classroom. Even more importantly, it is providing the medical center with a chance to raise money for its various departments and families in need. The medical center serves an essential role in the Long Island community.
The car wash is inviting customers and neighbors from New Hyde Park and the surrounding area to participate in the event, which began on November 26th, and will be running through December 22nd. The car wash has donated more than 25 prizes to the raffle. To participate, enter at 2080 Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park. Five Corners has also donated T-shirts and printed air fresheners as thank you gifts for participating. The car wash has been assisting with contributions to causes for the past thirty years, and was excited at the chance to help the medical center to meet its fundraising goals.
