There is going to be one more bank in the Long Island region in the next month. The New York State Department of Financial Services and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has given the green light for Gold Coast Bank to open up its fifth branch, and the first one in Nassau County.
The new branch is going to be located on the corner of Mineola Boulevard and Old Country Road in the renovated Raines Building at 210 Old Country Road in Mineloa, NY. Joseph G. Perri, Gold Coast Bank’s President and CEO said, "We are excited to continue our branch expansion." Perri also stated that they chose the Mineola location as they felt that is would give them the most exposure to business owners and other companies so they can further extend their reach. Perri went on to say, "By adding Mineola, we are successfully upholding our commitment to making our banking and lending services more convenient and accessible for the greater Long Island community.”
The new branch will also open up their main conference to other businesses and organizations to use for meetings and seminars free of charge. This is a great way to build a repior in the new community and create relationships with Mineola businesses.
The opening of the new Gold Coast Brank branch is going to be in September. However, the officlal grand opening ceremonies are going to be held on October 25th. The bank is planning on hosting a major event that is complete with special events and giveaways.
