The business world is not short any good programs which cater to helping keep people informed about the economy, business tips, and other news. No matter where you look there is someone trying to launch a new show. Long Island television viewers are going to be able to tune into a new business report on WLIW21 after the New Year.
The Long Island Business Report is getting ready to premier on the Long Island station WLIW21 on January 2nd at 7 PM. The weekly half-hour program airs Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., Thursdays at 11:30 p.m., and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on WLIW21, and will be available to viewers online on WLIW21 Video after the broadcast.
The program itself will be taped at Molloy College and highlight what Long Island needs to do in order to be a more dynamic place to live and work by exploring the economic and business trends that impact the people of Nassau and Suffolk counties. The premiere episode spotlights Mark Lesko, executive director of the Accelerate Long Island project, and Mark Fasciano, entrepreneur and managing director of Canrock Ventures, as they discuss the next generation of business on Long Island.
The Premier Season of the Long Island Business Report is going to be full of interviews and carry a wide range of business news from subject such as downtown revitalization, public affairs, aerospace and defense manufacturing, women in business, regional planning, healthcare, affordable housing, and local non-profits.
