(RIVERHEAD, NY, August 26, 2013) –– East End Arts is pleased to announce a new art exhibit at the Riverhead Town Hall Gallery featuring Riverhead artist George Camalich, exhibiting paintings of “Land & Sea”. The exhibit will open on Wednesday, September 3, 2013 and will run through December 3, 2013. Riverhead Town Hall is located at 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, NY (corner of Howell andEast Main Street; 631-727-3200) and the exhibit is open Mondays through Fridays, 9 AM to 4 PM. The public is welcome; admission is free.
Graphic designer George Camalich studied art and design at the Pratt Institute, the School of Visual Arts and New York Technical College. Upon entering the work force, he held various advertising and art department positions, as well as serving as Art Director for a number of advertising and communications firms, where responsibilities were to design and put into production all artwork for diverse clientele. Notable projects included: U.S. Post Office stamps, Merrill Lynch bull logo, and Broadway theatre posters. George has won many awards for his graphic photography prints.
The Riverhead Town Hall art exhibits are a collaborative effort on the part of East End Arts and the Township of Riverhead to support local artists and introduce their works to the community.
