According to Long Island Restaurant News, Montauk’s favorite beachfront restaurant will open for their fourth season on Friday, April 26th at 5PM. Considered the “perfect destination for summer dining by The New York Times, this restaurant will be featuring a preview menu through late May that will show off their new dishes and new drink selections.
Favorites like crispy calamari salad, local catch ceviche, and Montauk clam & corn chowder will still be featured on the menu. Alongside these favorites will be their new dishes, such as lemon-crab spaghetti, salmon tartare with red wine mustard and cornichons, and steamed Bouchot mussels, along with many other tasty offerings.
Along with the entrees and appetizers, you will find a focused “G&T” selection that features four different gin and tonics, including Bombay Sapphire (lemon), Hendrick’s (cucumber), Oxley (grapefruit), and Sapphire East (pepper & lime zest). New cocktails that have been added to the roster are Dark & Stormy (Bacardi, ginger beer, bitters), Painkiller (Bacardi, coconut, pineapple, OJ), and the Summer Share (whiskey, lime, agave). These are all on the roster with the signature favorites, so come and enjoy.
Navy Beach is the prime sunset-viewing location and will welcome back sun-seekers and boaters alike to their private beach. Fort Bond Bay is where the Navy once anchored and serviced their fleet and the Navy Beach Sun Lounge will be back with their comfortable sectional seating, as well as cocktail tables and daybeds for sunseekers and those who want to relax on the beautiful beach.
Many activities have been planned, including “One Love Sundays” in July and August, as well as the 1950’s Riviera Beach & Boat Party that is held for Bastille Day, the weekend of July 13th and 14th. Whether you are coming for a daytime meal or you want to plan a private event, Navy Beach is sure to offer the experience that you are looking for.
