On Friday, September 21, 2012, Naturopathica Healing Arts Center and Spa hosts the September East End Friday event to support local food and local services. Held monthly, this charity event at the East Hampton Spa offers discounted facial and massage treatments, treats from a local restaurant, and donates $5 from every soothing spa treatment to a featured local community organization.
This month, Naturopathica is partnering with The Retreat and East Hampton Gourmet Food. On Friday, September 21, clients will enjoy 20 percent off any rejuvenating holistic spa or facial treatment. Clients coming with a friend or booking multiple treatments will receive 30 percent off two or more treatments booked for that day.
The spa will also donate $5 from every treatment to this month’s local charity, The Retreat, an organization that provides a safe haven for families in crisis. The organization’s mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse. The Retreat offers safe housing for women and children, hotline services, individual counseling and crime victim assistance. At the spa, clients will be treated to tasty hors d'oeuvres and sweets from East Hampton Gourmet Food.
“We are committed to wellness and care beyond the spa walls,” says Naturopathica Founder and CEO Barbara Close. “We support The Retreat for its critical work providing advocacy and care for those at risk of violence or abuse.” For more information about Naturopathica, please visit www.naturopathica.com or contact Sarah Falcon:sarah@naturopathica.com.
