On Friday, August 24, 2012, Naturopathica Healing Arts Center and Spa hosts the August East End Friday to support local food and charities. This monthly event at the East Hampton Spa offers discounted facial and massage treatments, treats from a local restaurant, and donates $5 from every soothing spa treatment to a featured local community organization.
This month, Naturopathica is partnering with Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and East Hampton Gourmet Food. On Friday, August 24, clients will enjoy 20 percent off any rejuvenating holistic spa or facial treatment. Clients coming with a friend or booking multiple treatments will receive 30 percent off two or more treatments booked for that day.
The spa will also donate $5 from every treatment to this month’s local charity, Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, a non-profit organization that provides rescued cats and dogs with veterinary care, food, exercise and a comfortable place to live before adoption. Since its opening in 1974, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons has placed over 18,700 cats and dogs in loving homes. Additionally, clients will be treated to tasty hors d'oeuvres and sweets from East Hampton Gourmet Food.
“As an animal lover and dog owner, I can think of no better way to celebrate the dog days of summer than by supporting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons,” says Naturopathica Founder and CEO Barbara Close. “We are proud to support this no-kill adoption center that ensures animals’ health, comfort and safety until they are given a permanent, happy home.”
