One of the events that many Long Island residents look forward to is that of the Annual Comedy & Cuisine Fundraiser put on my the John T. Mather Memorial Hospital.This is one of the great events that I know I look forward to each year. There is so much to see, hear and taste that you can quickly become overwhelmed. This night of fun, food, and laughter is full of great offerings from many Long Island restaurants, bakeries, wineries, microbreweries, gourmet shops, and some of the funniest comics in the area.
This great night is also a fundraiser that will benefit Mather’s Behavioral Health Services, which offers programs to address specific psychiatric conditions and addictions with inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization. The annual fundraiser takes place Thursday, March 14 from 6 to 9:30 pm at Watermill Caterers in Smithtown.
Tom Heiman, Mather’s Vice President of Information Services and an amateur comedian, will be the emcee for the evening. Other great comediens who will also be taking the stage for the evening are;
Make sure to get your tickets early as you want to make sure you do not miss this night of food and fun! Tickets can be purchased at www.matherhospital.org/comedy.
