Manchester City Football Club Donates Soccer Equipment to Hurricane Sandy Victims in Staten Island
WHAT: As part of Premier League Club Manchester City’s 2013 U.S. Tour, the team has partnered with the BINI Fund to donate much needed soccer equipment to help those impacted by Hurricane Sandy get back to the pitch. Some of the world’s biggest name soccer players will be on hand to help donate the equipment and will participate in soccer drills and games with local Staten Island high school students
The donated items, including soccer goals, nets, balls, pinnies and other equipment, will directly impact youth soccer players that are part of the Staten Island United Soccer Club.
Players will be available for one-on-one interviews with the media following the equipment donation.
