Look for Local Deals This Veterans Day

To commemorate Veterans Day, a number of restaurant chains on Long Island will be offering special deals and discounts.  Today only, Denny’s is offering a free cup of coffee with this coupon.  Another deal which will be on every weekend through November 24^th is over at KFC.  You can get a 10-piece chicken bucket for just $10.  Another special two-for-one deal allows you to enjoy a free two piece boneless combo when you buy the first one.  Applebee’s is also going to host a deal starting on Veterans Day and running through November 11.  This deal is available only to veterans and active duty military members.  Veterans and active military members may enjoy one free entrée.  A number of options are available, including Fiesta Lime Chicken, Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, and more.

Another special deal on Long Island is being offered by the National Park Service.  From November 9-11^th, entry fees will be waived for everybody.  That means free park access on those three days, whether you are military or not.  Special events and programs will also be hosted at various NPS sites to commemorate the day and recognize our country’s veterans for their contributions and sacrifices.
