Just in time for Memorial Day, Long Island based music producer, Henry Golis, has produced and released a new patriotic song. This new, upbeat song by The Jordanaires, a country music quartet, is dubbed “Uncle Sam There’s No One Like You.” While it may not be one that you have heard yet, it is sure to become one that will be heard often during patriotic holidays like Memorial Day, July 4th, and others.
This song is thought to be one of the last, if not the last, songs performed by the Jordanaires, who were formed in the 1940’s and were backup vocals for some of the greatest singers in history, including Elvis, Patsy Cline, Carrie Underwood, and others. It begins with an introduction by Louise Harrison, who is the sister of the late Beatle, George Harrison, before it launches into the catchy tune that calls the listeners to march to the beat.
Many country greats are featured on the song, including Charlie McCoy on harmonica, Jimmy Capps on Guitar, David Smith on bass, and Gene Chrisman on drums. Golis describes it as “a light-hearted patriotic song” that makes you “proud to be an American.”
It can be downloaded on CDbaby.com for $.99.
