Looking for something fun to do to celebrate the Halloween season? This is the perfect time of year to enjoy some good scares at one of Long Island’s premiere haunts. There are well over a dozen different haunted houses, spooky walks, and other fun scares, and there is something for everyone.
- Haunted Mansion at Steppingstone Park. This attraction includes two sections: a kids area, and another section which is scarier for older children, teens and adults. This is a great choice if you have children of different ages to entertain.
- Haunted Pirate Voyage. This is a fun, unique haunt aboard a ferry. You go out on the water for a short voyage and participate in an immersive, theatrical experience that’s spooky, but not too scary for children.
- Woodside Nursery & Garden Center. This is a good choice if you are looking for a haunt (explore their “Haunted Tunnel) as well as other fun fall activities like pumpkin picking.
Those are just several of the fun attractions on Long Island that you can explore by yourself or with friends and family. Be sure to check a directory for a full listing, and enjoy the Halloween season!
