It doesn't matter what part of Long Island you are at because there will be numerous parades, activities and great eats throughout the Island to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
Get your green attire out to join in the festivities the entire week!
- Long Island Children’s Museum will have special activities celebrating all things Irish over the weekend. Children age 3 and up can explore traditional Irish music with Darlene Graham and the Shades of Green Band. The program starts at 2pm on Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18. There is a $4 fee ($3 for LICM members) with museum admission. While there, also enjoy its latest exhibit called Feasts for Beasts. The exhibit features live animals, feeding sessions and the opportunity to learn and explore what certain animals eat and how physical characteristics help each animal to eat.
