Lindsey Lohan's Mother Pleads Not Guilty to LI DWI

Dina Lohan, mother to troubled actress Lindsey Lohan, recently pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge on Long Island.  Lindsey Lohan is well known for her own substance abuse and legal problems, and recently spent three months in rehab sobering up as per a court order she received.  Her mother’s recent DWI hasn’t done much for her shaky reputation, though many reporters have noted that Lindsey appears to be doing better than she has in quite some time.  Judge Joy Watson of the First District Court in Hempstead judged Dina Lohan guilty of driving while under the influence, and suspended her license and released her without bail. 

Dina Lohan was arrested for drunk driving on September 12^th on the Northern State Parkway, where she was doing 77 miles per hour.  She was also recently in the news owing to her Merrick home going into foreclosure.  Even though Dina pleaded not guilty in court to the DWI, she had earlier admitted to the troopers who pulled her over that she had drank three glasses of white wine before getting into her car.  After the court hearing, a silver Rolls Royce pulled up in front of the courthouse to drive her away.
