“Arts Mean Business” Forum on September 20
Keynote Speaker: Emily Peck from Americans for the Arts
(RIVERHEAD, NY, September 6, 2012) –– East End Arts is pleased to announce an arts and business forum to be held at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead entitled “Arts Mean Business” on Thursday, September 20, from 9 AM until 1 PM. East End Arts invites business owners, artists, local government, arts organizations, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community members to this arts and business forum withkeynote presentation and panel discussion by notable arts and business leaders demonstrating the value of partnering with the arts to strengthen the economic vitality of Long Island. Limited seating still available. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Attendees will also get a first look at the partially, newly restored Suffolk Theater. The Suffolk Theater is located at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY. The registration fee is $25 in advance and $30 at the door; advance registration is highly recommended. Keynote speaker Emily Peck from Americans for the Arts, will talk about the pARTnership Movement, an initiative from Americans for the Arts to reach business leaders with the message that partnering with the arts can build their competitive advantage. Americans for the Arts is the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America.
