LIA Financial Services and Tax Policy Committee
Monday, October 22, 2012 - 8:30 a.m.
Long Island Association Headquarters - Lower Level
300 Broadhollow Rd., Melville (Bank of America Building)
On October 22 at 8:30 am, the LIA Financial Services and Tax Policy Committee is having a very timely and exciting meeting; a meeting that you don’t want to miss. This is sure to be a meeting that will demonstrate the LIA at its best; collaborating LIA talents, interests and service to the
Long Island business community.
On the heels of the Presidential Debate at Hofstra University, a panel of experts will address the tax policies of the Presidential candidates and their potential effects on the country, Long Island and businesses.
This will be an exciting and unique opportunity to become better informed about the positions of President Obama and Governor Romney as well as an opportunity for you to weigh in with questions, input and recommendations about the Bush-tax cuts, corporate taxes, the payroll tax cut, Fiscal Cliff, and more. Most importantly, give your insight into how the differing proposals might affect your business.
Please come and hear from experts and LIA members Carolyn Mazzenga, CPA (Partner-In-Charge of the Long Island Office, Marcum LLP), Lawrence Waldman, CPA (Long Island Partner-In-Charge of Audit Practice Development, EisnerAmper LLP), and Tim Mulcahy, CPA (Partner-In-Charge – Tax Practice Group, Holtz Rubenstein Reminick LLP), and the LIA’s Chief Economist, Dr. Pearl Kamer.
Please RSVP to Matt Cohen. Thank you.
