LIA Energy and Environment Committee

The LIA’s Energy and Environment Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 18th at 8:30a.m. at LIA HQ, 300 Broadhollow Road, Melville (Lower Level of the Bank of America Building).
This meeting will be “Natural Gas Day” for the Committee. We will feature three presentations concerning the future of natural gas on Long Island and two current natural gas supply and pipeline projects that are proposed for the region. We will hear from the following speakers and there will also be an opportunity for Q and A:
- Topic: The Future of Natural Gas on Long Island
Speaker: Michael Ruiz, Director of Community and Customer Management for National Grid
- Topic: Iroquois Pipeline Lateral Extension to Shoreham
Speaker: Todd L. White, P.E., Director, Business Development & Transportation Services for Iroquois Pipeline Operating Company
- Topic: Liberty LNG Terminal in Atlantic Ocean
Speaker: Jason Goldstein, Chief Operating Officer and Joe Vaszily, Senior Commercial Adviser for Liberty Natural Gas
This member strategic committee is led by co-chairs Robert Catell, Chairman of the Advanced Energy Research & Technology Center, and Harry Davitian, President of Entek Power Services, Inc.
