(Port Jefferson Station, NY) — Get your motor running! Join Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center for the Eighth Annual Ruff Riders Rally on Saturday, August 10. The tour will begin at Petco in Rocky Point and travel through the scenic north shore, ending at 89 North in Patchogue, where lunch will be provided. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., and kickstands go up at 11 a.m. This is a rain-or-shine event.
This annual event raises money for the care of rescued animals. The motorcycle rally will begin at Petco, located at 346 Route 25A in Rocky Point. From there, bikers and their passengers will travel through the scenic north shore of Long Island and parts of Wading River and Riverhead and meet up at 89 North, located at 89 North Ocean Avenue in Patchogue.
There will be breakfast, lunch, raffles and live music presented by Act1Entertainment.Net. Bands scheduled to perform include Songs In The Attic, Big Daddy & The Bulldogs, Fast Lane, Seven Turns, Milagro and That Rock Band.
Registration is $20 per biker ($10 for non-riders), with all proceeds going to Save-A-Pet. Pledges and donations are also being accepted.
