Bethpage, New York – July 1, 2013 – Bethpage Federal Credit Union, New York State’s largest credit union, has engaged Jack Bransfield, former president, Roslyn Savings Bank, as a consultant. Bransfield will work with Bethpage to facilitate community outreach programs, as well as provide counsel on real estate and development initiatives.

Bransfield recently retired from his position as president of Roslyn Savings Bank, which he joined in 1993, and which was acquired by New York Community Bancorp in 2001. Bransfield is also the retired chairman of the New York Community Bank Foundation.

Bransfield, who resides in Glen Cove, is also the chairman of Castagna Realty in Manhasset, the Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Greenvale and the Long Island Arts Alliance. He is a board member of Old Westbury Gardens, The Henry Viscardi School, Long Island University and St. Joseph’s College.
