The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome new member, Island Federal Credit Union to Riverhead. Island Federal Credit will celebrate its Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony set for July 24, 2013 at 1071 Old Country Road in Riverhead. Festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. After the ceremony that includes officials from the Town of Riverhead, Chamber of Commerce and Island Federal, light food and refreshments will be served.
Community members will have the chance to meet with Island FCU Executives, including the new Riverhead Branch Manager, Rebecca (Becky) Yousik-Collins, who recently joined Island FCU with more than 17 years of financial service experience. Becky is actively involved in the eastern Long Island community and serves as Treasurer of the Manorville Chamber of Commerce.
“This event was a way of demonstrating Island’s commitment to Riverhead and the local community,” said Paul D. Young, VP/COO. “It is a great opportunity for the public to get to meet Becky, a terrific addition to the Island staff, as well as Island FCU Executives.”
Island FCU is no stranger to the Riverhead Community. Island’s very own Director of Branch Administration, John McGregor, is a native to the area and serves on the Board of Riverhead’s Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach Program, which Island FCU and its staff have supported for many years.
The Chamber looks forward to working with Island Federal Credit who will be sponsoring the Chamber’s Eggs & Issues event for August featuring Legislator Al Krupski as the guest speaker.
