New York, NY…This past Saturday, Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) celebrated their 14th annual School’s Out cocktail party fundraiser held at the East Hampton home of Peter Wilson and Scott Sanders . The event celebrated HMI’s work and accomplishments this year; the money raised will ensure services throughout the summer for their at-risk youth.
School’s Out was co-chaired by Bobby Graham of InStyle, Brendan Monaghan of GQ and Alfredo Paredes of Ralph Lauren. Andy Cohen, host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live and EVP of Development and Talent for Bravo, was Honorary Chair. HMI partnered with A|X Armani Exchange and the Greater Gotham MINI Cooper dealers along with sponsors Solstice Sunglasses, Barry’s Bootcamp, ic! Berlin and Ketel One Vodka, Smirnoff Sorbet, & Bulleit Bourbon.
“Each year, School’s Out gets better and better. The weather cooperated and turned our 14th year into our best yet. This was our highest grossing year to date—you could just feel the warmth and enthusiasm towards HMI in the air; everyone had a great time for a great cause,” says Thomas Krever, Executive Director of HMI.”
The Greater Gotham MINI Dealer Group came on board as Principal Sponsor for this year’s School’s Out. Along with their support, they had everyone raving about the mode of transportation getting from the parking lot to the main house—a fleet of nine MINI Countryman that shuttled guests back and forth.
School’s Out 2013 raised over $225,000 which will go directly to providing HMI youth with programs and services necessary to help them reach their full potential.
