If your kid is the one always looking in the trees and in the dirt for something creepy and crawly, you are in for a treat. More to the point, your Long Island kids are in for a treat. This is because an upcoming event will allow your child to get their hands and their minds wrapped around some of the most interesting bugs imaginable.
The Suburban Experimenting group is presenting to kids all about the different kinds of bugs in the Harborfields Public Library on August 28, 2012 from 11:00am – 12:00pm. The crew will bring along their certified entomologists to teach the kids about how insects survive in our world. They will be able to learn about the survival techniques that the different bugs use every day. They will even be able to see some of these amazing specimens up close and personal.
If you are not into the bugs yourself, you can take a seat far away from the action where there are no bugs to bother you. If you need more information of you are looking to schedule to attend, you can call Patricia at 631-757-4200 X151. The library is located at 31 Broadway, Greenlawn, NY. Admission to this event is free and all are welcome to attend.
