The Captain Courage Portrait
It was January of 2011 when Captain Courage made a special appearance to entertain families at a “Wings Over Haiti” benefit event in South Hampton, NY. It was there that he met local artist, Lynn Matsuoka, from Sag Harbor, NY. She offered to produce a portrait of The Captain as a gift for being at Haiti Relief fund event. When she completed the work, The Captain looked at it and knew immediately he could use that as a print to be marketed for charity. For the next year and a half the Captain has worked on the on the “Help Captain Courage Find A Cure For Cancer” initiative and is now releasing limited editions of the Captain Courage Portrait for fund raising purposes.
Soon to be released is “The Legend Of Captain Courage” written by producer/performer Jamie Davis and to be presented live on stage in East Hampton, NY - August 29th at Guild Hall….
