Port Jefferson-On June 6, 2013 the Harbormen Chorus proudly presented their annual donation of the money collected from various performances throughout the year at theGoodShepherdHospiceInpatientCenter in Port Jefferson. Miriam Calabrse, long time staff Nurse Practitioner and Noreen Riordan, Nurse Educator, were joined by members of the Good Shepherd Hospice staff and enjoyed a collection of songs performed by the Harbormen Chorus quartet as patients and their families gathered.
Together for 45 years, with over 40 members, this donation is just the latest contribution in a long-standing relationship between the community-based group and Good Shepherd Hospice. The Harbormen Chorus has contributed more than $12,000 over 15 years to support the mission of Good Shepherd Hospice.
