Great Neck Welcomes New Eeatery Ayhan's

In the tradition of great restaurants in and around Long Island, a new one has been opened that promises to bring not only great Mediterranean food, but also a sense of festivity. With its fifth location, Ayhan's Shish-Kebab is now ready to entertain you with its open style kitchen interior and its overwhelming smells and tastes of the mediterranean coasts.

Located on Middle Neck Road, the new restaurant has kept the arc windows that were so prominent a feature in the several steak houses that preceded it. However, this restaurant is nothing like those that have taken up residence here in the past. The flavors, smells, and atmosphere are sure to propel to you Greece, Turkey, or the Riviera.

One of the mainstays of the chain of eateries is the Greek salad accompianied by a Turkish red lentil soup. This is sure to get anyone's appetite fired up for even more to come. Of course, for those who are light eaters, this would make a fantastic meal in itself. For those who dare to venture on into the culinary environment of Ayher's they can order a portion of grilled octopus or the baked moussaka. This last dish is a house favorite that is made with several layers. These layers consist of eggplant, potato, lamb, and beef bechamel sauce crust. All of this with a very modest mound of rice pilaf at a reasonable price of $12.95.

Each day at Ayhan's Shish-Kebab there is the opportunity to feed on the freshest catch of fish. Ranging in price from $17.95 to $22.95, the fish is caught daily and made to perfection the way that the customer asks for it. There are also a wide range of items suited for family dining and a whole host of kebabs.

Like the other four restaurants in the chain, Ayhan's on Middle Neck Road also has a Sunday lunch buffet that contains over 100 different types of dishes to choose from. All at a very modest price of $15 per person for all you can manage to eat. Ayhan's Shish-Kebab is a welcome addition to the Middle Neck area and sure to be a hotspot for families.
