Google is famous for changing their search engine algorightm and sending many online marketing businesses, and websites, crashing further down in the search engine rankings. This, then, causes web traffic, and revenue, to come to a screetching halt. Earlier in 2012, Google released their Panda and Penguin updates, algorithm changes that dramatically affected the Internet and sent many urls crashing to their demise. fishbat Inc., which was voted Best Social Media Agency of Long Island for 2013, has survived the Google algorithm changes and remains relevant to the search engine.
This is quite an accomplishment for a very young marketing company. As Google continues to tweak how it reads, and ranks, different websites, marketing companies like fishbat need to evolve with them. Staying in line with Google, while they are making changes, is a tough challenge for any company.
Finishing its second year of business, the Bohemia, Long Island located company has been unaffected by the Google algorithm changes and has become the leading social media industry of Long Island. They have gone on to win the Best Social Media Agency Award of Long Island’s Best hosted by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
“fishbat offers an array of services that goes unmatched by most other agencies,” comments owner, founder and CEO Clay Darrohn. “For us to survive the impending changes from Google and escalate as high as we have on their search engine says a lot.”
Penson comments on the search engine saying it is “a long way from a purely semantic engine and Google may never get to that point. The important thing is that they are certainly motivated to make much more of relevance to diversify search results.”
Congratulations to fishbat, Inc. Let's hope that they can continue their trend into the years to come.
