Good Shepherd Hospice Staff Member Honored for Living the Mission

Melville, NY – Genevieve Clinton, LCSW, of Good Shepherd Hospice, was recently presented with the Catholic Health Services (CHS) Living the Mission Award for exemplifying the CHS mission values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence.  A Rocky Point resident, Clinton was nominated by her colleagues for her outstanding qualities and was chosen from among more than 26 nominees.  After serving in the U.S. Navy and working for the American Red Cross,Clinton joined Good Shepherd Hospice, a member of CHS, as a social worker, in which role she has earned a reputation for her compassion and concern for patients and their families. 

“Genevieve is dedicated to the hospice mission and always goes above and beyond,” according to a colleague.  “She helps clients in every way she can—even securing veterinary services for patients’ dogs!”
