Melville, NY - Good Shepherd Hospice Presents the 6th Annual Bob Sweeney Christmas/Holiday Gathering to be held on Saturday December 1, 2012 at the Hilton Long Island inHuntington,NY.
The 6th Annual Bob Sweeney’s Christmas/Holiday Gathering is free and open to school-age children (5 years old to 17 years old) who have experienced the death of an immediate family member – parent, grandparent or sibling. Caregivers will also participate in the day’s activities.
Arts and crafts, music, and sharing groups are part of the day. A Personal Pal will accompany each child to help them navigate through their feelings and emotions. This annual Christmas/Holiday Gathering is provided by Good Shepherd Hospice through the generosity of the Robert L. Sweeney Memorial Fund.
