Girl Scout Day Comes to Long Island Game Farm in Celebration of Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary

What: In celebration of the Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary, the Long Island Game Farm will host the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County at its annual Girl Scout Day. Visitors can learn more about the Girl Scouts, and sponsorship opportunities for Operation:Cookie, which sends Girl Scout cookies to troops serving Iraq and Afghanistan, and to those recuperating at Walter Reed Medical Center and the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Children will have the opportunity to make arts and crafts with the Girl Scouts.
The Girl Scouts will also explore the Game Farm as they visit different exotic animals, enjoy the variety of shows and go on the fun, exciting rides.

Directions: Long Island Expressway to Exit 70 South (CR 111) to Manorville. Go south on CR 111 for half a mile. Make a right on Chapman Blvd. Go 1.5 miles. Game Farm is on the left.
