Fall is just around the corner and many are already preparing for the colder weather ahead. Part of the preparation starts with where to get a great pumpkin in the LI area. One of the great ways to get a pumpkin on Long Island is to go to the 24th Annual Fall Fair benefitting Huntington Charities. It is the first Fall Fair of the year in Huntington.
Pumpkins will be only one of the many things you will be able to get whenever you are going to the fair. You will also be able to stock up on apples and even be able to get the Vermont cheese you love along with the great Cider that these festivals are known for. It is a great way to make sure that you are ringing in the Fall the right way.
Along with the Farm Stand, you can also visit the Tag Sale and even the bake sale of the Cook’s Night Out featuring foods you can take with you on the go. There are many other items for sale for your whole family including used books, toys and so much more.
All of the proceeds from the event go to the Huntington Community Food Council, United Methodist Church and Dolan Family Health Center. Entrance to the event is free, but you are sure to want to bring your cash so you will be able to get the best items for your money.
Locating the event is easy to do with the access being from 180 West Neck Road in Huntington, NY. You can also call for directions in case you need it from 631-427-0326. Potential vendors are still needed for the event should contact Susan at the aforementioned number.
