Friends of Karen's Annual Golf Tournament Slated for June 27th at North Shore Country Club in Glen Head

Friends of Karen is hosting their Annual Golf Outing on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at North Shore Country Club in Glen Head, New York. The event will honor Cindy McLoughlin, an audit partner in the Long Island office of CohnReznick, LLP, a national accounting firm.

Friends of Karen provides emotional, financial and advocacy support for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families in order to keep them stable, functioning and able to cope. The organization has helped more than 12,400 children in the New York tri-state region.

The recipient of many professional honors, Cindy has been included in Long Island Business News’ Who’s Who in Accounting Services and Women in Professional Services, awarded one of Long Island’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business and included in their top “40 Under 40” class.

Cindy is a past recipient of the Achievers’ Award for the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women, the Corporate Leader Award for Long Island Women’s Agenda, a past honoree and chair for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon and most recently an honoree for Long Island Advocates for Children and Youth to support a local community center.

Through her involvement in Friends of Karen as a member of their Long Island Advisory Board, as well as other Long Island organizations, Cindy is committed to helping local communities, families and children.

Cindy and her husband Tom live in Northport with their three children Madison (8), Morgan (5) and Dylan (18 Months).
