Family Residences & Essential Enterprises, Inc. and the Lenz Winery Unveil Wine Label Featuring Artwork of Special Needs Artist

Old Bethpage, NY - August 3rd, 2015 - On Thursday, July 23rd, Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) unveiled their latest collaboration with The Lenz Winery, a wine label featuring a piece designed by Jason Churchill, an artist supported by FREE, entitled “Ultraviolet”, which is featured on a 2012 Merlot.

“We are excited to continue our very special partnership with Lenz and appreciate their continued support of FREE and its artists,” said Robert S. Budd, Chief Executive Officer, FREE. “Having the art of one of our artists on a Lenz wine demonstrates the creativity and abilities of the individuals we support.”

The Lenz Winery, one of Long Island’s oldest and most prestigious North Fork vineyards, has long been a supporter of FREE. They have hosted a number of showcases for artwork created by members of FREE’s art program. The latest collaboration between The Lenz Winery and FREE is a wine label featuring art designed by Jason Churchill, an artist supported by FREE, which is featured on a 2012 Merlot. The label is based on a piece entitled “Ultraviolet.”

The wine was available for purchase at the Wine Tasting Dinner hosted by FREE and The Lenz winery at Jewel Restaurant in Melville, NY.

“The collaboration between Lenz, FREE and Tom Schaudel is truly representative of what it means to invest the community,” said Jerol Bailey, Lenz Tasting Room Manager. “FREE works within their community to provide programs and services to help differently-abled individuals reach their full potential. Tom Schaudel has long been a champion of all things local. His support of local farmers and producers is evident in every menu he creates. And Lenz only makes wines from grapes we grow in our vineyards,” Jerol Bailey, Lenz Tasting Room Manager.”
