EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL MAKES LONG ISLAND PREMIERE
The cult hit will play a special limited Halloween engagement
EVIL DEAD: The Musical, the off Broadway cult hit with book and lyrics by George Reinblatt and music by Frank Cipolla, Christopher Bond, Melissa Morris, and George Reinblatt will begin performances on October 26th, 2012 at the Cultural Arts Playhouse (625 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY).
Directed by Edward Carignan and produced by Rose Tinted Productions, Opening Night is Friday October 26th (8 p.m.).
Since its original Off-Broadway production in 2006, this award-winning rock musical has taken the world by storm and achieved a cult status in the vein of Rocky Horror and Reefer Madness. Join a cast of professional New York City and local Long Island actors (including Jared Johnston of Broadway's RENT, and Abigail Raye, Lady of the Lake on the Spamalot National Tour) for the long anticipated Long Island Premiere. All your favorite moments from the infamous Evil Dead trilogy have been recreated live onstage with plenty of Zombies, Blood and of coarse hilarious musical numbers. The perfect night out during the Halloween season.
