Enjoy Long Island Restaurants Old and New

This week we feature two restaurants that have made their mark on Long Island for providing a great dining environment and, of course, great food. One has a history with Long Island that dates over 10 years, while the other is a few months shy of one year.

Tellers Restaurant in Islip is celebrating its 13th anniversary from Monday, Aug. 6^th to Sunday, Aug. 12^th. If you haven’t had the chance to experience this fine classic and contemporary American steakhouse, make sure you head over the week of its anniversary. It is offering a 3-course price fixed dinner for $50. You can also enjoy 50% off its wine list or unlimited wine by the glass on certain selections for $10 with any entrée. Its price fixed dinner menu includes a main course of steak, filet mignon or pan roasted Atlantic salmon. Its spectacular dining environment features a 30-foot high ceiling, art deco friezes, and dramatic exterior lighting highlights. It’s also the place of an architectural landmark.
Toro Pazzo in Wantagh doesn’t reach its one-year anniversary until Oct. 12^th, but in the short amount of time it has been in business on Long Island, it has received a warm welcome. It offers an Italian city-style vibe and a dining environment featuring industrial ceiling, cityscape artwork on the wall and a waterfall behind its bar. It also features special style martinis, such as the Nutella and the Birthday Cake martini. Every Thursday thru Saturday also offers live entertainment. Some upcoming guests include Acoustic Mike Solo!, Bobby Digital and J Haus, Dog House Blues, The Incomparable Lou Prim, The King Cobras, Johnny & The Triumphs and Nothin But Jazz.
