(RIVERHEAD, NY, April 12, 2013) –– East End Arts is thrilled to announce its Spring Gala, to be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 6 PM to 11 PM, at Raphael Vineyard in Peconic, NY. The celebratory evening will honor community supporters Alice & Jack Van de Wetering and Bridgehampton gallery owner Peter Marcelle. The fundraising event will feature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dancing to the music of the Laura Rivela Band, and live and silent auctions, including artwork by some of the East End’s most renowned artists as well as exclusive East End and NYC experiences and memorabilia. Highlights from the auction include artwork by renown East End artists Jane Freilicher, Robert Berks and Gina Gilmour; as well as private dinner with legendary cook and event honoree Alice Van de Wetering, a VIP Yankee experience, sheet music signed by internationally acclaimed violin virtuoso and conductor Itzhak Perlman, and a two-night stay at a private New York City apartment in Murray Hill, to name a few. Hosting the evening as the mistress of ceremonies is award-winning broadcaster, producer, host and interviewer Bonnie Grice. Tickets start at $150 per person, and the deadline to reserve is April 19, 2013.
