(RIVERHEAD, NY, March 5, 2013) –– The East End Arts Gallery is pleased to announce their Annual non-juried, all media Members’ Show, Origins.The Opening reception will be held Friday, March 15, 5 PM to 7 PM. East End Arts members are invited to submit one work of art for guaranteed inclusion in this show. The Annual Members’ Show provides the opportunity for all member artists to show their work to the public. The show will run from the opening through April 19, 2013. The reception is a free public event; refreshments will be served. The East End Arts Gallery is located at 133 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY and open hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM.
“A tree originates as a seedling… or an acorn,” says East End Arts’ Gallery Director Jane Kirkwood. “Rain starts as a cloud. An individual originates from ancestors who originated from different cultures or continents… or species. Bring your subject back to some sort of beginning… its origin.” East End Arts is accepting original works in all media, one entry per artist. The only requirement is that artists be or become a member of East End Arts at the time of drop-off.
