East End Arts Announces People's Choice Award Winners For Annual Members' Art Show

(RIVERHEAD, NY, May 1, 2013) –– The East End Arts Gallery is pleased to announce the People’s Choice Award winners for their annual non-juried, all media Members’ Show, Origins, which was a tie-win. The two pieces with the most votes were: Theresa Idelowitz of Malverne, NY for her work in oil titled Ballerina in Dressing Room; and Barbara Bilotta of Mt. Sinai, NY for SoundBeach, created in Acrylic with Resin. The Annual Members’ Show provides the opportunity for all member artists to show their work to the public; members were invited to submit one work of art for guaranteed inclusion in this show. The show ran from the opening on March 15 through April 19, 2013.

The Origins Show is one of seven art shows of 2013 at the East End Arts Gallery, under the umbrella theme “Celebrating Our Diversity”. The current show is an all media, juried show titled Art & Science, juried by Artist and Science Teacher Kryn Olson.
