East End Arts Announces Juried Show Featuring Artist Frank Wimberley

There are some shows that are simply too amazing to miss. One of those is the juried shows put on by the East End Arts Gallery. As such, the gallery is pleased to announce their upcoming juried, all media art show, Diversity, at the East End Arts Gallery which will be up for viewing starting Friday, January 18.

This year, the Arts Gallery has a wonderful guest juror in internationally renowned artist, Frank Wimberley. The show will run through March 8, 2013, with a reception on Friday, February 1, from 5 PM until 7 PM. The reception is a free event, open to the public; refreshments will be served. The East End Arts Gallery is located at 133 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY and open hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM.

As a creative abstract expressionist, Wimberley has been wildly popular for over 40 years. He has again and again proven that color and composition and texture and style can not only be arrestingly beautiful, but in skillful hands can even convey nuanced emotion. It will be a great pleasure to witness some of his art in the Diversity showing.
