Dr. Steve Perry Leads Stellar Speaker Line-up At Boyz N 2 Men Event

Freeport, NY…(May 24, 2013) – Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Hofstra University, Boyz N 2 Men, sponsored by the Cedarmore Corporation, a youth services organization based in Freeport, New York, brings together world class speakers to address the critical issues that young men from diverse communities face but often remain undiscussed. The event features critical conversations between Boys, Young Men, Fathers and Mentors.
Educator, CNN contributor and host of the TV One show – “Save my Son”, Dr. Steve Perry is the Keynote speaker, conducting a “Straight Talk with Dr. Perry” session. Additionally, Mr. Michael Skolnik, Editor, GlobalGrind.com will conduct an interactive “Man to Man” Forum, between the attendees and prominent male leaders from across Long Island. Lastly, Dr. Alex Ellis, of the Tied to Greatness Organization will address the group on “self image” and closing out the day with a “Tie-tying Ceremony” where older men will teach younger men how to tie ties, reflective of their forward destiny.
“Boyz N 2 Men” also features age appropriate, culturally relevant workshops on bullying, health/self-esteem, college preparedness, financial literacy and healthy female relationships for ages 9-11, 12-14, 15-18 as well as fathers and mentors.
This event is not to be missed! Seating is very limited. Registration is $25.00 per person or $45.00 for a Father / Son/ Mentor combo.
