Donations for Rescued Dog

The Suffolk County SPCA is requesting donations to raise money for Midnight, a rescued emaciated dog with a broken femur.

Chief Roy Gross of the Suffolk SPCA said that the agency rescued the one year old female mix-breed on Wednesday November 21st, which was abandoned in a yard in Bellport.  The dog was taken to  Bayport Village Animal Health Center where an examination determined that she will need expensive surgery to repair the fractured femur.  Midnight was also found to be underweight and infested with fleas.
