The Eastline Productions Ltd, formerly Broadway Bound Studios, will once again generously donate a performance to benefit the Glen Cove Arts Council at the Sea Cliff Yacht Club. The play, Rumors, Neil Simon’s hysterical comedy, will be served with a delicious three course dinner, and a cash bar, on Friday April 19, at 7pm.
The theater company has recently been acquired by local actors and partners Beverley Bell, Tim O’Rourke,
Dr Eve Lupenko, Jim Black, and Pat Reilly.
Neil Simon's Rumors takes place in the home of Charley and Myra Brock, on the occasion of their 10th wedding
anniversary. As their four sets of guests start to arrive, they discover that Charley has been shot, and Myra
has gone missing! Their kooky guests gossip, spread rumors, try to hide the situation and, eventually, devise
an outrageously funny cover-up for the police while trying to solve this mystery themselves.
GCAC brings the arts, through scholarships and visits to museums and art galleries, to youth who would not otherwise
have these opportunities.
Tickets are $55 per person. Checks made out to GCAC should be mailed to GCAC PO Box 27 Glen Cove NY 11542.
