If you’re one to love the feel of diners and its food, you’re in for a treat on Long Island. We bring to you two new additions that are sure to satisfy growling stomachs.
Just earlier this month, Shake Shack made its way to Westbury. It’s the first one to open up on Long Island. It makes the 16th location since Shake Shack started in 2004 at Madison Square Park in Manhattan.
Located at the Gallery at Westbury Plaza, it’s a prime location to grab a bite in the midst of all the shopping. Shack Shake is an updated classic Midwestern roadside burger stand where you can find mouthwatering burgers, hot dogs, cheese fries, rich and creamy ice cream shakes and the ShakeMeister Ale.
Over in Mineola, Biscuits & Barbeque, a Louisiana-style restaurant opened shop earlier in the year to serve breakfast and lunch. This isn’t any ordinary restaurant. Its home is a vintage Mineola railroad car with a diner setting within. On one side is table booth seating and the other side is stool seating with a bar countertop.
Biscuit & Barbeque offers Southern-style cooking and Texas barbeque flair to its dishes. Its menu is complete with selections such as Mustard Battered Catfish, Grilled Gator Sausage, BBQ Gator Burger, Bayou Jambalaya Omelet, Jambalaya Mac and Cheese and much more.
Get some comfort from dining at these two hot spots with great tasting food.
Come back each week for new features on entertainment, shopping and dining opportunities on Long Island.
