Melville - Good Shepherd Hospice, a member of Catholic Health Services, presents “Connections,” a free, 8 week bereavement group program for children, teens and their caregivers who have experienced the death of a loved one.
Connections is a safe place for children and caregivers where they will:
• Work in separate but concurrent groups.
• Heal together while they develop healthy coping strategies.
• Increase their understanding of grief and how to manage feelings.
• Engage in creative activities like art, music, story telling, and play that create and preserve memories
The group will meet on Monday evenings from at theCatholicHealthServicesCorporateBuildingin Melville beginning February 25, 2013. Registration is required so please call the Good Shepherd Hospice Bereavement Department at 631-465-6262 or 516-465-6262.
