Anyone who has visited the Hamptons knows about the great restaurant called Nick & Toni's. It has been one of the hottest places along the Hamptons for several years now. So popular, that it is almost impossible to get a seat there on a summer Saturday night. As a celebrity magnet and three-star restaurant, Nick & Toni's Restaurant, in East Hampton, is one of those places that visitors love to flock to.
In order to continue to give their customers a wonderfully inviting place to dine on those beautiful Hampton summer weekends, the Long Island restaurant is refreshing and updating its dining rooms and bar, including floors, tables, seating, and lighting. But the layout and the style of the 25-year old Mediterranean eatery are expected to remain the same.
One of the great things about Nick & Toni's is that their food is constantly good. Under chef Joseph Realmuto, Nick& Toni's earned a three-star rating in Newsday in 2012. This might have to do with the wood burning oven that adds a certain atmosphere as well as flavor to the food. Expect the restaurant to be opened again and ready to take customers sometime in April 2013.
I am quite excited about the new changes that Nick & Toni's has planned to liven up their dining area. The restaurant has always been a favorite of mine... that is, when I can get a table.
