CLEARVISION’S SPIRIT DAYS BOOST EMPLOYEE PRIDE

Hauppauge, NY –June 2012 Eyewear industry leader ClearVision Optical celebrates summer with “Spirit Days” at its Hauppauge headquarters.

Reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a workplace community where contribution, cooperation, and plain old fun are key to its core, Spirit Days give employees an enjoyable way to express their energy and imagination at work. Held monthly throughout the summer, Spirit Days foster an enthusiastic, energetic atmosphere and help strengthen employee pride. Employees are encouraged to participate in activities related to each day’s specific theme in a way that challenges their innovation and expression.

“We host these events to help stimulate creativity and free thinking while building a sense of camaraderie,” says Jennifer Trakhtenberg, ClearVision’sSenior Talent Leader. “One of the greatest things about working at ClearVision is the positive employee morale that stems from events like Spirit Days.”

Spirit Days include:

Pirate Day: Employees donned pirate costumes for the first Spirit Day of the season, and received pirate themed giveaways.
Hat and Hair Day: Fun, funky hairstyles and hats are judged in a creative contest on this Spirit Day.
Black and White Day: Black and white attire is encouraged on this days sponsored by our Accounting department.
Hippie Day: In conjunction with International Peace Day, Hippie Day celebrates groovy styles and far out thinking.

In addition, ClearVision treats employees to a Family Day at Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead, where they enjoy activities like rock climbing, a sea lion show, a butterfly exhibit, and lunch in the Sea Star Ballroom.
